I had never heard of this before and find it pretty amazing. It seems the conditions are good for the animals and from what I've read, it sounds as though they've gotten a second chance (protection) where they would have otherwise been hunted, killed etc.
what do you guys think of this? for some reason the vids brought tears to my eyes.

elephants in many asian countries are highly revered and honored. in sri lanka, hindu temples have a 'temple elephant' that is pampered and primped and lives a pretty nice life :)
