Thank you guys! :bigsm:
It's been a good day today, it started off nicely with one of the local college stations playing some kick ass thrashy music that accompanied me on my way in to work. I saw that as a good sign.
Some Motorhead, Dead Kennedy's, MC5, so it put an instant perk and vivacity in my step. :::uh-oh:::
:devious: :devious: :devious: :devious:
Thanks again!

thank you again guys!
wow, isn't 45 the official age of mid-life? hmmmm.....
what kind of crisis should I have?
start riding a hog?
what I really want is a Vespa. With a cool helmet and a scarf and some spiff shades.
maybe I should get a cabana boy?
get some botox=botulism injections into my face?
WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?
::sorry, wanted to yell that:::
I really would like to get a tattoo but I'm nervous about that.
upper right shoulder or ankle.

Hey!
I'm glad your day started off so good! I woke up to snow that morning, so I had to hurry, had no time to spend on the computer, thats why my post was so short! Hope you had a GREAT DAY!!!!
A tattoo! Yes, you should get one! I wish you could go with me when I get mine! Remember I told you about Kate, the one who did Mike? Well, she is staying in the Buffalo area afterall! I am still in touch with, and plan on doing it soon! For years I wanted to get "3 crooked hearts with swirls all around', but have since changed my mind. Even since I became "single" 9 months ago, I have discovered life again! I never realized how stifled I was! I started having FUN again!!! I started LIVING again!!! Being ALIVE again feels so damn good!!!! That's why I want to get the Alive guyI I showed it Kate and she loved it! Now that I think about it, you are the one who should have the Alive guy!!! Did you ever think about that?
Well, I have a good story, it has nothing to do with your birthday, but what the hell, maybe it will make you laugh!
My boss (who I happen to have a huge crush on) and I went out to breakfast, and Christmas shopping together on Satuday morning... I drove! Well, the thing you need to know about me is that I have NO SENSE OF DIRECTION!!! (To me, north happens to be what ever direction I am facing!)
Anyway, after breakfast, I was pulling out onto what is normally a very busy road, and he told me we have to turn 'right', but I was certain that we had to turn 'left' so i ignored him. Well, I never noticed the concrete barrier in the road (the one that's there to prevent left hand turns) and made the left turn anyway. I continued down the road for what seemed to be quite a distance, not noticing that I was driving on the wrong side of the road! Thank God it was early and there was very little traffic! I then saw a car coming at us head-on when I heard a weak little "HEY" from my boss! I think it was all he could muster... I believe he was in shock! I then swirved onto the right side of the road, when he informed me that "we're not in England". I was so embarrassed that I forgot I was still driving in the wrong direction! He calmly suggested that maybe I should turn around, and when I did I made the whole situation worse! I saw a driveway to a large parking lot, so i turned in, and instead of turning right around I decided to drive further into the lot, and found myself driving thru a maze of parked semi-trucks! It was surreal.... everywhere I turned there were semi's....I didn't know where I was, so I just stopped the car and broke out laughing becuz it was so ridiculous! Needless to say, he drove the rest of the day! Now tell me, how do you explain something like that? I certainly can't tell him how I feel and that the fact that he was sitting next to me had anything to do with my actions! I told him that I'm really not a "dumb" person, and he said he knows and that "dumb" is not the adjective he would use... he than suggested maybe "foolhardy"!!! So tell me, do you think I blew it with this guy?? I'm not saying that there was anything between us, we just get along well and have gone places together a couple times.... but after an experience like that, I'm thinking he must think I'm crazy! Oh yeah, one more thing.... he ended up leaving his keys in my car, and when I called him to tell him I was on my way back to his house to give him his keys, he was very adamant about me not coming back! Even though I was more than halfway there, he insisited he had a second set and that I do not have to return them! That's not a good sign, is it????
After spending a day of shopping with me, maybe HE should get the Alive guy tattoo too!

no, no...I think it's very positive that the two of you went shopping in the first place!!!! :bigsm:
If anything, he will always remember that drive.....and the vehicle coming at you......and the maze of semi's.!! :oldman: You had me laughing out loud, I could picture the whole thing!!!!
The Alive guy, that would be perfect for you! I was thinking that if I got one, I would want the Great Wave of Kanagawa. It's one of my favorite woodblock prints. I did a triple sterling overlay of it as a pendant about a year and a half ago, (of course I started it way before that and finally finished it during Easter break of '06) :devious: PROCRASTINATOR'S UNITE!
The pendant has the main wave, it's not the entire print..I would only want a portion of the print as a tattoo, not the entire thing...it would be too much. And the tat artist would have to be killer.
