I'm ok
Had snow Saturday that turned to pouring rain by 6pm Saturday night. It poured through yesterday but has let up now. Also had some wind, but we're fine. No floods or power outages where I am, but I-5 near Chehalis is underwater. It is closed. Think about that, THE north/south interstate connecting Seattle to Portland is closed until further notice. So, now, in order to get to Portland from Seattle (or vice versa), one has to drive through Yakima. That's just about 300 extra miles.

i am fine. i live on the crest of west seattle. (admiral district for those in the know). snow was pretty on saturday. rain was good for being lazy on sunday.
driving to work on monday was sketchy...but i left late so i could miss the traffic.

what part of portland does she live in? she should be ok although she might have lost power. I have friends in portland proper, beaverton, gresham and tigard and they all reported in ok.
It's the ones west of beaverton, as you head toward the coast and on the coast, that are really hurting.

all good here!
on my walk last night I saw so many very near missses, trees that had snapped but missed the house/carport/street by mere inches
i live in north portland, st. johns. I think the worst damage in my little area was from those highly annoying people who rake all of their yard leaves into the street, thereby clogging up the drains, thereby creating lakes all over.
