Here's another piece by the hub that was in the paper last week.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow marks the 38th anniversary of Woodstock.
Well it's one, two, three, what are we fighting for?
(it's disturbing how in the year 2007 we can sing the same song with a different location)

This picture of my husband and the crew was taken in the South Bronx. He's the 5th adult from the left. :bigsm: It was their Christmas card for 'Plenty' one year (1981 or 82).
Can you imagine? That group of folks settling down in the South Bx? They worked side by side with NYPD (Ft. Apache), NYFD, and EMS. NYC gave them a building. Before every shift, they'd stop by Ft. Apache and the PD would give them radios, a good deal of time 'Plenty' were the first responders for emergency calls.
