i decided that the 20 or so years of "putting in my time" wouldn't be worth it...i interned at KJR AM sports radio here in seattle and some of those guys have been there forever and aren't even on the air yet...

i did some baseball and softball play by play at college...it was so much fun! i love baseball (GO M'S!!!) /images/smile.gif

I mean I look at the jocks I used to work with and they have been in the biz for 20+ years and don't make great money and have no job stability. They are BIG cons for radio. I'm a journalism major. If you know your Canadian universities, you can probably guess where I go, but I don't give it out voluntarily (No offense).

I doubt if I wanna be in the industry or if I am cut out for it, but my overwhelming desire to be a sports reporter just sorta wipes it out. I don't know if I will ever make it to precisely where I wana be, but we'll see what happens. I haven't even decided if I want to do print or broadcast as my "stream" yet. What I actually seem to have the most god-given talent for is the written aspect of broadcast.
