I already ate lunch today, but I thought I'd tell you how nice it was. /images/smile.gif

At about 12:30 myself and 2 of my co-workers went on a little 2 block hike to 35 East 35th Street, which is an apartment building where one of my co-workers friends live. Anyways, we got there and ordered rotisserie chicken to the ROOF! Yep, I had lunch atop a building (14th floor) in beatiful midtown manhattan... about 1 block away from the Empire State Building. It was so nice outside and the weather and food were perfect! I think I even got a little tan!

I don't know what beats going into the city during springtime. Whenever I have the time I go on the weekends and just walk around...its a really nice time to be in nyc. Last summer a friend of mine had an apartment in the village, and I'd head out when I could. I get too used to the suburban life I have here in New Jersey...I swear there is a curfew here after 9:00pm! But in the city you can walk around at 2 in the morning and there are so many people out (especially on the weekend) still having a great time. And there is such an eclectic group of people there...unlike the group of elderly staunch republicans that inhabit my small town. Yeah, I know exactly what you are talking about Smirks...although I have never had the opportunity to eat lunch on top of a building. The closest I got was a fire escape. Enjoy.

9pm?!?! Where in NJ do you live? I live in NJ too and people are out way past 9... in fact, with the funky t-storms last night people were out until at least 3 or 4.... of course that could just be because I live in a college town... /images/crazy.gif
