wow, it is reaaaaaaaalllly slow around here.

i was thinking the other day about my procrastination habits... i've gotten much worse. see, i used to try to come up with an excuse as to why i can't study... like i had to clean my room, or "i'll just take a 5 minute break"... but now, i don't even bother making up excuses for myself anymore. that's bad. i'll just be like, i don't feel like it. hehe, i'm so lazy.

Well, I think I take the cake as far as procrastination goes. For me to start something earlier than 4:00am of the day it is due is my version of not procrastinating. I am that bad!! (I have since realized that this is due in large part to my accute fear of failure and clinical anxiety problems, but that's whole 'nuther story).

I love that quote, though... One of the best I think I've ever heard! I need to keep it in mind.

Ah, bluecow, believe me, I do EXACTLY the same thing. Only I've got the let's calculate the lowest mark I can get on this test/exam so I can still pass the course syndrome. It works wonders for the self-confidence! To even try and remember a time where I didn't procrastinate is beyond the scope of my mental capacities. And just how frequently the words I don't care come into my vocabulary is alarming.

ah yes, i too am a pro at the calculate the lowest grade you can get on an exam to still pass thing. it doesnt work well for me though... like last semester i needed a 65 on the final to keep my C in math, i figured, oh that's not too high, i can pull it off, so then i don't study, and i got a D in math. oh well.

and i have a psych test on tuesday, and what am i doing? studying? no, of course not... i'm sitting here, and watching fraiser./images/smile.gif

'Tis surely a case of burnout. I can only hang in the only way I know how - PJ! I've got the dvd coming out the day before my last exam, and as soon as that one's over, I'm selling all my books, giving them away if I have to, and I'm gonna sit on the couch and watch every single PJ thing I have on tape. When I'm done with the video, I'll move onto the audio. That should keep me busy and content for quite some time!
