and, more importantly, Beta is on a cruise for a stupid fundraiser for United Way...the fundraiser is not stupid...just the people that are in "charge" of it. it's ridiculous. if you people knew half of the story that she goes through. anyway.

it's friday night...i'm alone...drinking some brahma (brazilian beer...for the first time) and sitting here at the computer...i can't figure out the television...i can figure out the one in my room...just not in here...and, i'm cooking some linguine...for myself...totally boring...

i miss beta...it feels like an eternity...3 days...i have never missed anyone in my life like i miss her...

the worst part about UW is that they want it to be a business one minute and a non-profit the next. they are completey ridiculous. if you had 10% of the story going on here in miami-dade, you would be pissed. the sad thing is this...she could get more money for doing half the work is she went somewhere else...she's too intelligent and too talented to put up with the fucking people that are "in charge" at uw miami-dade.

charities are run by snobs - I'm sorry - they're usually wealthy biatches thinking they're "giving back to society" when all they are really doing is planning social events for their buddies - now granted their buddies do pitch in the super bucks so you can't knock it - but the pretentious attitudes of those faux-tan, long nailed, red lipsticked, chanel sunglasses & bling wearing haggity hags drives me nuts (can you tell I volunteer alot?)

lastnight we went to dinner at Oggi...it was good...had a bottle of wine...it was a nice night with her back...with no one else around...good times...

the linguine...tomato and basil sauce...cream...vodka...over linguine...topped with parmesan cheese...yes, the cheap stuff in the canister...oh well...it was good...

today...lazy...i'll post pictures later tonight...
