Alright so I will start this Friday morning with a question for my fellow jammers. What is the strangest toy that your pet plays with? Steve, my cat (and boobyhead!!!!/images/smile.gif) is the craziest cat ever. He would rather sleep in the cardboard box I got for him rather than the nice comfy cozy bed he has. But that is not the strangest toy. Last night we were cleaning out the closet and there was this Christmas wreath which had little pine cones on it. One fell off and Steve proceeds to carry it in his mouth like a trophy. And last night while watching 'Survivor' we hear this weird sound and we realize it's Steve playing with the pine cone like it was a ball of string. God he's so crazy. I think since he can't catch any mice that he is resorting to this. So, what about your pet???

Just hand me the coffee and everything will be okay. Fuckin' hand it over damn it!!!/images/smile.gif

We used to bug the hell out of our cats with a laser light... we'd have them running all over the house, up the walls, out into the yard.... it was hilarious.

not quite as funny as a cat named "Steve" tho. /images/laugh.gif

My dog has a shitload of plushy squeaky toys that he tears to bits and rips the stuffing out of. Each of them has a name, and there's about two dozen of them. His favourite one is a platypus called "Toy" which is the first one we ever bought him. "Toy" is literally nothing but a tiny shred of faceless cloth right now, but my dog still plays with it and when we tell him to "Bring toy", he goes and gets the little piece of material that's left.

my sister has a chocolate lab named "Hoss" who has a wide variety of stuffed animals... when he gets lonely he gets one, holds it between his paws puts his mouth over the top of the poor stuffed animals head and proceeds to "suck its brains out".... he'll sit there for an hour doing that! It's so funny /images/laugh.gif

this isn't a toy, and it's probably really mean, but it's really funny when i stick peanut butter to the roof of my dog's mouth and she sits there for like 10 minutes trying to lick it off.

the companies that make pet toys should hang it up..my pets never play with those things...

elwood the cat: the plastic milk rings from gallon jugs of milk, he LIVES for them, plays fetch (yes, this is a cat) with them, he's the floor hockey master of disaster in the front hallway on the tile with them, then he slams them under the fridge or stove and pouts til the next gallon jug is opened...
we moved the fridge once and counted 17 of those suckers under there...and he loves any crumpled up paper or foil, bats it around forever...

nala the buttdogg: used the lawn sprinkler as her own personal water pik, it looked like she was playing a harp, she'd stay there for hours biting at the streams...

shelby the buttdogg part 2: empty cool whip bowls, before destroying them, she'd run around with the bowl partly over her face which (duh, she's a dog) would would cause her to run into walls, furniture, etc. because she couldn't see...oh, and she's a klepto, steals everything from hubby's pager, barbie shoes, coins and q-tips...

heh heh heh.... gotta love a kleptomaniac buttdog!!!

Our neighbor's dog uses the sprinkler as her personel bidet....she sits on top of it forcing the water to spray every which way... it's hilarious.

My elderly cat Bonanza (who bears a striking resemblance to Lindsay Davenport) used to have a stuffed dog with bells in its ears named Jingles. Poor neutered creature that he is, he would bite and hump Jingles. Eventually, all the stuffing either fell out of Jingles or was compressed to a point where Jingles resembled Renne Zellwiger, so we sent Jingles to the Island of Misfit Whore Dogs.

We can cross the bridge, we can pay some tolls.

I love my Stevie Sandi!!! /images/smile.gif We adopted him from the SPCA last August and that was the name his previous owners gave him. He is about 5 years old and is seriously like my little baby. I kiss him all over and he sleeps on my pillow at night!!! If I knew how to put pics up on this board I would post one of him!!! We are going to name out next cat Stone...so it will be Steve and Stone. My b/f wouldn't let me call him Eddie /images/frown.gif

Lucky has 2 toys..Charlie which is Charlie Brown and he's Lucky's chew toy and then there's *El Monkey*...which is a black gorilla with a banana and he's Lucky's hump toy. Lucky is trained to hump him on command. :)

Hmmm...my dog doesnt really play with this as a toy, but rather he goes through a strange ritual with it....
Whenever someone comes to uor house, family memebers usally or sometimes friends, my dog Buddy, whose a pug, picks up a shoe and just carries it around in his mouth ...forever. He doesnt drop it; you have to get it off of him. He doesnt put it back weither. But its so weird...there's no reason for it that I can see....he just carries a show around all through the house, up stairs, downstairs....its soooo cute, but its really weird....

And toys...well I do believe if he could, Buddy would have my little five year old cousin as a toy...he hates her, I can see the look of hate in his eyes whenever he sees her, its funny, she doesnt get it that he doesnt like little kids...but really, he's harmless :)

Bonanza has a smushed face much like Miss Davenport. It is hard to believe, but it is the god honest truth. I shall post a picture this weekend (maybe) to show this distrubing coincidence.
