Just curious how many of you have discovered the joys of Stoney's side project Brad? I spent a good deal of time trying to get some of their stuff on Napster yesterday (just ask Dominic /images/cool.gif)... god dammit if I didn't get a transfer error at 99 frickin' percent.... 3 seconds left!!! Now, it's hard to find and you have to search for Brad with Interiors at the title or else you will pull up shit by every other asshole named Brad out there. Anyway.... here are the the ones that I managed to get and I highly recommend all of them. I am quite impressed with Shawn Smith's voice... he is one of those guys whose voice does not fit his face at all... a totally gruff looking guy with this sweet voice. OH! and check out this interview with Stone re: Brad and Pearl Jam... it's pre-Yield release, but still a good one /images/smile.gif

and here are the songs:
The Day Brings
Secret Girl
Circle and Line
Seance
Those Three Words
Can I say thanks again to Yfke for turning me onto the wonders that are Brad?
Thanks, Yfke!

i have to agree with sandi...brad is GREAT! if you have interiors and want something else you can put 'shame' in the title spot and get their older stuff...i found the whole thing months ago so it is out there...

Brad are great! A certain lady named Paige got me truly interested in them, and at her suggestion, I bought their debut, Shame, a little while back! Good stuff!! If I wasn't so goddamn broke, I woulda bought my copy of Interiors weeks ago.

we were lucky enough to see them in toronto a
few years ago - FANTASTIC LIVE!!!! - i love
a guy singing and banging away at the piano -
and such a huge crowd of fans up here - really
enjoyed it
and stone was doing some major groove walking
on stage - almost a michael jackson moment
they pulled the bus right up to the front of the
venue and just hung out in there for a couple
of hours
i still don't have my hands on shame, it's out
of production for over a year now and the guys
at loosegroove wouldn't sell me their own
personal copies (well - i tried) - i really love
the song buttercup, so if anyone has an extra
copy of shame - PLEASE - MY WAY!!!
although i've been told it's out there on the net somewhere but
i'm not big on ordering online
they even have a video for the day brings, i've only seen a little bit of it, they played it on
much music when brad was here
anyway - i'm yakking - just wanted to agree
with you - great band, great music!
