a total jaw-dropping moment, eh?
it's rumored both actresses were whacked
due to their off-camera antics with DUIs in
hawaii...apparently the producers are not
tolerating it...at all.

but, hey, at least ana lucia got a
little sawyersomething before she went :)

a shirtless...sawyer...something....*sigh*

agreed!

in the scheme of things, how long was Michael gone for? less than a week, right? i wonder if he went through MAJOR brainwashing or if they promised him to give him walt. wasn't expecing that at all...

my theory is that Michael is on a mission from MADD.

i think it's cool how they all pretty much keep running into each other...
libby was at the same mental hosp as hurley...
ana lucia was hanging out with jack's dad....
jack's dad opens the car door and slams it into sawyer....
to name a few....there's more connections....

if i can get thru an episode not having to hear michael scream, "..i'm gonna find MY SON!!!!" 900 times, it's a good day...

no, it's even worse when he says 'they took MABOY'

anyway, yeah. the bar Jack's dad got in is the same where he had the convo with Sawyer

i was thinking about what henry gale said to Locke...
"you're one of the good ones"...

do you think he means that that the front end peeps are good and the tail end peeps are bad? ana lucia, whom he deems bad was in the tail section. libby too. sure michael might shoot both of them and then himself to pin the blame on henry to further instigate a conflist between the front end and the others, but they were already set on that anyways. perhaps he learned something from the others while he was gone and was helping to rid the island of the tail end suckas. dunno.

Is Libby really dead? She can't be! She hasn't resolved her "issue" yet. We don't even know what her "issue" is! It's going to mess with Hurley and he won't be able to figure out that she was in the mental hospital with him. Maybe she will just be unconscious for a while.

Ana Lucia is dead because she resolved her issues with people trying to kill her/wanting to murder them.

I definitely didn't see that coming though.

I think Michael is just trying to get Walt back. I don't think he even meant to shoot Libby.

As for the tail section people being "bad," what about Bernard? He was a good guy. I was thinking that Locke being "one of the good ones" had more to do with mental/psychic capacity.

I also think that the Dharma initiative food has something in it. Did you hear Michael say that The Others only eat dried fish and fruit? Weird.

And did anyone see the commercial for the Hanso Foundation during the episode? They are getting ridiculously elaborate.

Check out the widmore site http://widmorelaboratories.com/ to see about the food.

impressed by you, my friend. the food theory is genius, good catch.

i don't think that libby is dead. like you said, she has not resolved her issue yet, nor do we even know what it is.

seems to me that resolving issues = getting off the island, via death? perhaps the mental ward in hurleys flashbacks is truly where all of the castaways are really at, getting treatment. the island is a built hallucination by the dahrma scientists as a healing ground for their patients to confront their fears. when they are "better" they are "removed" from the experiment.

ana lucia resolved her issue with killing and such, suddenly boom she is dead and off the island. boone resolves his issues with his sister, bam he is dead. jack is a doctor who struggled with loss of his wife and father, perhaps he went crazy and is now also in the same hospital, his island issue being that he always wants to "fix" people, yet still loses them. and locke can walk on the island because its not real and so on. hmmmm.

and perhaps the food is what keeps them in this hallucination.

and the kids, why do they take the kids? if you're admitted to a mental hospital all deranged in the head, you probably struggle a lot with missing your family. they are with you at first, but the kids can't stay at the hospital with you, so you are seperated from them and the hallucination causes you to blame the "others" and work towards recovery.

i'm a total nerd for this show.

it drives me crazy

it's like watching twin peaks, you never know what the hells going on

maybe libby's not dead, maybe hurley will have to face some trial to save her life

who the heck knows

and i still want to see more of the puffy black cloud thing

maybe they're in purgatory - or maybe the whole thing is like total recall

or maybe like that horror movie where all the characters were in the guy's head

and living in tents eating dried food - sounds almost militant

and what's with micheal's dad popping up everywhere

i give - i completely give

i can't even sit through a movie without pointing out what's fucked up so i've decided just to go with the flow on this one - that way if i come up with something better than what it turns out to be I won't think it sucks

that looks pretty interesting... I wonder if it will just end up confusing us more!

as far as Michael goes, I figured maybe he's hatched a deal with the "others" to help Henry escape and maybe get Walt back... at least that was my first impression...

how can it be so confusing and addicting at the same time?!?

:)
