The avocado has a seed. It has flesh and skin and represents life. But it's also going to decay. And its flesh is going to get those black veiny things and it's going to putrify and die. I think the avocado has it all really. Very frankenstein, fleshy, organic feel to it.

I am not ruling out the California Avocado billboard as an influence though.

I think the last picture is cool. But then again my high school art teacher was kind of a sicko so I have probably been brainwashed. Doesn't it look like Matt has a mohawk made out of ribs? Wicked. Also...intestines on Mike's head? Cute.

probably because the J Records agreement is only for distribution, right? the cds in stores will probably have a J Records thing on them, but not ones ordered from Ten Club. the benaroya hall cd i have, for example, does not have any record label stuff on it because it was distributed by Ten Club.

Thats the first thing I said outloud when I tore the package opened and looked inside.

Then I saw that picture in the back and got a bit frightened and shut the back cover. I started thinking about horror movies and I knew I wouldn't sleep tonight, haha.

Its kinda funny, with some of the songs on this album, the artwork doesn't match. I can see with Severed Hand, or WWS it might go along, but with Marker in the Sand, Come Back, or even Parachutes, it just doesn't fit.

And for the record, Id like to say that it looks like Jeff has a rubber chicken on his head on that back photo. :)

i'm gonna rely on the good graces of a fellow fan who (pleasegodhopefully) will be standing outside the venue with an extra ticket to sell for a seat...or on the hill....i won't care which it is....i'm not trying to get in on the cheap, i'm willing, of course, to pay face or a little over....and if i don't make it in, it's all good. i'll just wait back at the campfire, under the stars......
