Creamy or Chunky

When I go grocery shopping
It sucks
I often stand in front of the peanut butter
Questioning my morals
Why peanut butter you ask?
There are words on there that disturb me
They want to know
Do you prefer creamy, homogenized, sweetened
Or natural, oil on top
Or chunky bits of peanuts mixed in for texture
Do you want any chemical preservatives
So you can buy this cheap, huge jar
And have it on the shelf forever
Or get a decent one,
That's healthier & fresher for you
That urges you to use it before it's too late
And it gets rancid or dried out...
I opted for the natural one,
The one that's better for you -
That cares about what you put in yourself
If it's good for me, my body will know
If it's full of fillers & useless sugar & unnatural things,
My red flags will be fluttering big time
Now I'm sure
Give me the pure one
The real one
The one that tastes like it should
I don't want anyone fucking with my moral dilemma
I know what I want
Pure, unadulterated
Peanut butter
(and if you thought anything other than that..***good***)
