I usually like that aspect of all of this.
This year, natch.
Eh? I don't get it.

I felt like that too. Once I got rolling, and started pulling out everything we had hidden all over the place for the kids, I got into it and felt that Christmas excitement. :oldman:

I hope it'll come around. I think it's in part due to the messyness in my room and lack of a decent place to wrap them. I have a solid surface for the smallish presents, but I'll have to go over to the next room for the medium and large ones. Wrapping on textured carpet won't go over well.

two words - gift bags. truly a god send inspired by a mother at this time of year.

Yeah, I have a few, but I don't like them too much. My stepmom, on the other hand, adores them and there's always a healthy stack under the tree. There's just something about opening a present as opposed to opening a bag, ya' know? Maybe I'm a present snob. :P

i have no time for snobbery when it comes to presents. i just stick em in the bag, throw some tissue and *wa-la* present :) i wrap a few. but i love a bag!!!! AND you recycle them over and over every year!! so it really is better for the environment ;)

You can re-use wrapping, too. We've done it a lot.
