I just got the new Neil Diamond album (it's awesome!) and I want to play it on my computer...but I haven't yet because I don't want it to mess up my computer's harddrive.
Does this CD have it on there?
Is there a way to block it or get rid of it?
any answers are appreciated

Here is some info I dug up:
"Consumers can identify titles with XCP content protection by checking the back of the CD packaging. If there is a black and white table with the words "Compatible With", and if the URL in that table ends with the letters "XCP" (http://cp.sonybmg.com/xcp), that indicates the disc contains the XCP software."
You can go here for more info including a patch that addresses the security issues as well as an exchange program if you do have a protected disc:

hmm...
I don't see anything like that...though this is a Sony/BMG cd but through Columbia records.
There are 2 Anti-Piracy warnings on the back, but there is nothing else noting anything else.
I guess it should be alright...I'll wait for a bit and see if I can get some more info.
Thanks!
