It's funny, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he gets much out of it besides nerd-discussion and nerd-excitement. It's not really any different from when you talk about gear you like. You're a way more demure person than he is, so the tone is different. You know how he gets when he starts rolling. Having seen it personally several times, I can't say it fazes me beyond me having to jokingly call him a nerk.

Yeah I wouldn't pay $1600 for a fucking computer - I can understand people like Matthew who use it as an integral part of their work, but not for an average joe like me. I am not entirely pleased with the Mac Mini, but it could be in part of my amateur status as a Mac user.

greg

well, 31 days according to the ticker.

i don't know if i am freaking out. i'm so matter of fact about things in life.

it's mellowing me out if anything.

i'm more nervous about the fact that this world is a shithole and i now have to navigate someone else through it until they can do it themselves.

Indeed. 'Tis the end of one small journey that leads into a colossal one. How's Cathy, did she ever find something decent to drink?

not really. pretty much everything bugs her because her stomach is literally squished so she has reflux all the time.

she's trying rice dream right now to see how that goes. can't have dairy for now and soy milk started to bug her too.

V8 seems to be ok though. surprisingly.
