Random, that is a cool word, no? I had a cat named Random once, she was cool. I didn't name her tho, she was 3 when I got her, but I added A.O.K. to her name, so she was actually Random Acts of Kindness. My friend was so inspired that she named her adopted greyhound Random... and the other one Reason. Cool names for greyhounds, eh? I'm so proud of her, she is very active in the plight of abused former racing dogs. She and her husband offer a half-way house for these poor critters until they find the right home for them. She's cool.

Doncha hate it when you are really looking forward to something, and are even, like all prepared for said something, then, plans fall through? I hate that. What I hate more is that I tend to allow it to dictate my mood for that whole day...grrrrr... like *right now* i should be having a really good time (not that I don't love hanging here with you guys, but I would much rather be doing what I was *supposed* to be doing- no offense, k?) anyway.... shit happens.

I think Asher broke my toe this morning! It hurts! He was chasing me, got tangled up in my feet, tripped and his knee landed square on my little toe /images/frown.gif it's all purply now....oh wait, that's just the Jam nail polish! silly me. No really, it really hurts! Om1 says I should go to the doctor because what if it heals incorrectly? hmmmm we'll see.

So.... Does anyone here eat Smart Start cereal? If so, what the hell happened to the little pearls of wisdom quotes that used to be included on the inside flap? I always looked forward to that, and this morning I opened a new box and...nada. hrmph.

Okay, well that is it, I'm procrastinating right now, can you tell? Posts of random thoughts are usually an indication that the poster is procrastinating on something, and that is precisely the case right here, right now.

some random, kinda related replies of my own...

my best friend has a cat named happy, cuz her little brother was anorexic so the psychiatrist said it would help if they had a pet, so they got this cat and her dad *creatively* named it Happy cuz it was supposed to make the kid happy...

my boyfriend was supposed to come up last weekend to visit me then couldnt cuz it was snowing, and now it's supposed to snow this weekend. damn snow.

i've never eaten smart start, but speaking of cereal, why do the life boxes say, "He likes it! Hey Mikey!" i mean, i know that whole mikey commerical thing, but why would he say "hey mikey" after "he likes it"? that doesn't even make sense.

i didn't realize that random thought posts were because of procrastination... what are you procrastinating? i always feel like posting random thoughts but i don't most of the time cuz no one responds to me anyway. /images/smile.gif
