"A Different Kind Of Pain"

Before I let you go
Give me just one more night to show you
Just how I feel
I lost all my control
If it takes my whole damnned life <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I'll make this up to you

I’m kind of like the waves that roll their whole life
Towards somewhere crashing in on the shore
That’s blown in by the wind that carries the clouds
To hide my wish on a fallen star

A different kind of pain, is someone there to hold you?
Is someone there to take you away from me?

I tried to let you go
I wish I could turn back time

And show you just how I feel
I needed you to know
If it takes my whole damned life I'll
Make this up to you

Before you let me go, I needed you to know

Cold has a new album coming out on tuesday...i would recommend that some of the people here go out and buy it. it's beautiful from what i have heard. and i'll be buying it on tuesday...i don't usually give music that sort of respect when it's money we're talking about. you can't just read the lyrics above and understand what this song does to me - you have to hear it - you can feel it. i don't know. i am guessing that a lot of you will say, "it's Cold, i'm not buying that album..." i hope you trust me on this one. their singer, scooter ward, has been getting a lot of shit for this record because it's not "typical" cold...it's not typical quasi-nu-metal...that's all. have a great night.
