Is he still alive? I remember my frosh year of college I did some dumb paper... I forget why we had to do it, anyway I wrote about the sort of "myth" of Tupac being alive... But seriously... have any other dead guys with as short a career had as much "unreleased" material as 2Pac? I don't get it.

I mean, Pearl Jam have been around 10+ years, alive, and they're just now releasing ONE album full of rarities... Many of which have probably been HEARD before... some that haven't... but Tupac (for some reason I keep typing "tupica")... man... I don't know what's already been released posthumously, but now there's this double album or whatever?? C'mon! COME OUT OF HIDING, 2PAC! I KNOW YR IN THERE!

Well, I remember when he was shot, they said one of the possible motives was the five or six albums' worth of material already recorded. I think his mother managed to get possession of them, though.

And I agree with Chica. IMO Rap died with Tupac.
