Just some Alley-related news since she's up to her eyeballs in DIY musicness and can't come around much at all anymore (awww) ...

Canadians/World at Large can get her newly released double-album "Live at Wood Hall" from Festival Distribution (http://www.festival.bc.ca/) or from Allison's website (http://www.allisoncrowe.com/index.html). The US release date is the 4th (why not on the 1st, I have no idea. Probably a Festival thingie?) Doesn't really matter now that the 4th is so close.

The album was recorded at Victoria's Conservatory of Music this past Easter break, compiled from 2 nights of gigs. Sadly, no PJ covers made the final cut but covers of Counting Crows, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco & various traditional and show tunes are there.
