i had 10lbs worth of buffet with my mom and i have a couple of beautiful hanging baskets full of posies from my son

we went to visit neil's mom's grave - i gave her a rose and neil put a casino token on the headstone (it's a jewish tradition to leave a marker to show you have visted the grave - there's lots of golf balls on his dad's headstone)

i totally abuse the mother's day power and inflict guilt on all so that i can sit on my throne!!

(actually it just means i can get out of doing the dishes one day a year!)

i hear ya share! i told my family this: you make the plans and all i want is for this day to not be a pain in the ass.

so, this morning i waited patiently for my breakfast in bed, ate, watched tv and took a nap :) stayed in bed till 2:30 this afternoon. took a shower and then went to the corner restaurant for a nice dinner.

a very quiet day in the groovN household, which is what i wanted!

went to my motherinlaws for lunch.. my parents were there too so it was nice and easy and
then my husband took me to see Sarah Mclachlan.

It was a great day :)
