I missed it.. I was drunk too, listening to some overly loud metal cover band in a bar that I hate. Can't complain too much, the drinks were free. But still...I missed Bruce and I reminded myself all week that it was going to be one.
DAMMIT. Hope they replay it sometime this weekend.

why wouldn't he? huh?he isnt playing thunder road because this isnt that sort of tour. its more him and a guitar and stuff you (or i) have never really heard before.
apparently, he also isnt into people clapping and singing along during the music, you cant leave the theater during a song and god help you if your cellphone rings during the set :ogre:
but there really isnt any *popular* stuff on this tour, and the old sorta popular stuff that he is playing doesnt sound a lot like the record/cd.
but he made that announcement as a service to his fans who want to hear the old standbys cause he doesnt want them to be dissapointed.

but i thought thunder road acoustic was one of "those" songs though. anyway. i just wondered if there was a certain reason other than the reason that it wasn't from nebraska or tom joad. thanks though. i guess i don't know enough about springsteen to say that thunder road is or isn't a song like those on the new record. i know i love the new record. anyway. oh well.
