the prisoner was one nutty cult show when i was a kid

if you haven't seen it you can probably get a feel for it's weirdness by
the simpsons take

a couple of neil's brothers were prisoner freaks - they knew everything in and out about it

One summer my friends and I watched at least three Prisoner episodes a week. My friends Dad had the whole series on DVD. It is fantastic and so unbelievably strange. If you haven't seen it I suggest renting an episode or two...there are a lot of pop culture references to it...The Simpsons, the whole new #2 thing in Austin Powers. There is indeed a gaseous ball that lurks around the Village and presumably knocks people out.
