Whats the easiest way to transfer files from my old PC to my laptop? Ive heard theres a program that does this with a USB cable. Does anyone know the name of the program and what it costs? Any other recommendations are welcome also. Thanks

Hey I got one too! I'm sitting here at work and instead of planning for tomorrow I am looking at how to use my DVD burner....:scared:

Well, I think that there are a few ways to do this. One, if your old computer has a burner, just burn them on a cd then drag them to your harddrive on your new laptop.

another option would be to network yourcomputers.

The one I would suggest, unless you already have a hub and networking cables and such...would be to go out and buy what is called a "USB Power stick" (I think that's what they're called) It holds a butt load of info, and all you do is plug it into your usb ports. Quick and painless.

I'm sure you can also find something with a USB cable, but I do't know about that. Good luck :)
