My Dad never wears his. Probably due to working around heavy machinery/equipment.

Maybe it's due to the possibility of losing it onstage. Ed's sweating and his body is heating up - if I remember science 8 at all, the ring would conduct the heat and the element would expand, not to mention the fact that his hands would be damp with perspiration.

Any science nerds care to correct this, if necessary? You'll get a free copy of Nerdular Nerdence. :rolleyes:
