GOOD NEWS...update on my friend joey...

HE IS IMPROVING! he is off the ventilator and sitting up and breathing on his own! he recognizes and is talking with his mother and sister and even asked about his dad and stepmom...things are looking good... /images/smile.gif/images/smile.gif/images/smile.gif!!!

Thats really really really good!!! It's amazing that so many who don't even know your friend are all sending out such warm, positive vibes for him...we'll all keep up the good work, and no doubt he'll keep improving!

thank you so much for the support/prayers/thoughts...i am heading to the hospital now to see him...

no word yet on the extent of the head injuries or whether there will be permanent damage...but it looks good for now!

a very sincere thank you to the jamily here! its nice to know we can have our fun (poopy's posts) but still come together in all seriousness when we have to!

great idea! i have been to two PJ shows with him! not sure if the ICU can handle it though...maybe when he get upgraded to a different unit... /images/smile.gif
