so anyway, i heard a story on the news about this 23 year old female florida teacher being arrested for having sex with a 14 year old male student while his 15 year old cousin drove them around...
on the news, they read emails from veiwers with mixed opinions
here's my question, which do you think is worse (or are they equal)?:
1. 23 y.o. female teacher having sex with 14 y.o. male student
2. 23 y.o. female teacher having sex with 14 y.o. female student
3. 23 y.o. male teacher having sex with 14 y.o. female student
4. 23 y.o. male teacher having sex with 14 y.o. male student

now...if the student were a 16 year old male with a 25 year old female teacher...I have to admit...I don't think it would be as bad as a 16 year old female with a 25 year old male or female teacher...or a 16 year old male with a 25 year old male teacher

Yet when you look at maturity levels of that age, chances are the girls are far more mature than most boys. This is typically the case, of course there are exceptions.

There is an age limit for consentual sex between two people. Mainly because of this problem.

When I was 16 did I have a teacher that I thought I would have sex with, sure I did, and I'm sure many of the guys here did. Would they have done it if she was willing to? Who knows, chances are they would be too scared...I know I was scared to even with a girl my own age. I know that I knew about sex when I was 14, but friggen-a! I would never have done it! And with a teacher??!!! Shit no!

I remember that many of the girls in my class were having sex with older guys in school. None of them were in their own class. I guess it's maybe a "cool" thing to do, but I also think that they were more..."ready" for it.

I haven't heard about this case until I opened up this post. Either way it's wrong and should be taken care of. I mean, what was she thinking?? REally?? I mean, you know the kid is going to say something...or his cousin would...it's going to leak, THERE ARE NO SECRETS IN HIGHSCHOOL. No matter how big or small yer school is, it's all about reputation,and stuff leaks.

c. yeah, it would be really difficult to have sex with a teacher at the age of 14 although kids have crushes on teachers.

CHILDREN having sex at the age of 14 is wrong. a 14 year old does not have the mental capacity to consent. let alone a 14 year old consenting to have sex with a teacher.

can a 14 year old really ENJOY sex?
will that 14 year old be able to process the repercussions of having sex?
to a 14 year old, is it just a sex act or is it making love?
will the 14 year old be able to raise and support a baby?
will the 14 year old be able to take themselves to the doctor and deal with having an std as well as taking the meds so it doesnt spread to other partners?
is a 14 year old being used as a tool to the other persons sexual gratification or are they a willing partner?

sorry, there are many other ways to channel the energy of a 14 year old...many more activities that actually build up the character, self esteem and self respect of a 14 year old mind and heart. sex does not do this for 14 year olds in any society.

its not a bad thing to recognize what you are feeling and then choose to either act or not act on it. just because you feel like doing *it* doesnt make *it* a good choice....*it* being anything.

a male or female, who is 23 years old
should NOT be doing anything sexual
with anybody, male or female, who is
14 years old....plain and simple, a 14 year old is
not ready for sex. i *know* 14 year
olds have sex all the time.. i know that.
but that age is in no way emotionally
or psychologically ready for what comes
with it....

to be sexually involved with a
child of 14, especially when the "adult" in the
situation is a teacher, no less, is just
plain wrong.
