I would've liked to have gone to the Tragically Hip/Joel Plaskett concert at the Molson Amphitheater, but the only tickets left are $73 after service charges and building fees. and as much as I love both of those artists, I just can't bring myself to pay that much for a ticket. when the price gets over the $50 range, I just can't be a part of it. that's why I skipped PJ last year. I still love 'em, but concert-goers are getting taken advantage of nowadays. and I wish more people would boycott shows when prices are unreasonably high thanks to the greedy Concert Industry. it's the only way to get things turned around. because if you contribute to the problem, you can't really complain about it when it gets worse and worse.

the next show I'm going to is $12, and it'll be just as fun. and it won't have the impersonal atmosphere that big venues create.

Cool. The only shows I've gone to over the $50 mark were radiohead and PJ. And I almost didn't go to PJ, I got my tickets the day of the show.

I was originally going to reply to this thread with, "I'm gonna stick a sparkler in my butt and sing 'The Maple Leaf Forever'." but now I'm glad I didn't, because it might've prevented your open invitation.

in fact, would you mind showing
everyone how you do that?
the backyard's big enough for
a full-on sparkler-butt sing-a-long with frinkie :)

and you all think i'm kidding.

you'd actually let your family see my fat naked ass being singed by a sparkler?

I think I'm gonna cry. I've never felt like I belonged this much before.

We love you so much, we'd take pictures and sell them to that Priceless 420 website.

I'd prefer a Fark Photoshop.

The whole thing would linked NSFW. TF would get it, but I doubt it would be greenlighted for the masses. Hilarity would ensue*.

The German Church PS yielded some good ones today.

*Rarely will I vote for a PShop with Ackbar, Mustard Man, Babyhead, Komo Dun, Masturbation Kitty, etc. ... the cliches are pathetic.

"We created ground rules when picking these episodes: No two-parters, no Borg episodes, no Klingon episodes, no season finales, and no episodes that get picked everytime we do a Viewer's Choice Next Gen Marathon. Then we chose the best of the rest."

I don't think I get this channel. I never liked the borg episodes so I'm glad they're doing that. That show rocks

I love the Borg. Mostly the one with Hugh. Not so much the one with Lore and Hugh later on, though. It's the Ferengi episodes I can't stand. Lwaxana Troi ones are little grating, too, except when she's irritating Worf.

"It's Worf, madam, not 'Woof'".

Hopefully there are still a few Q episodes to choose from. I would imagine most would have been discarded as part of viewer's choice picks.
