"If line 11 is equal to or more than line 12, enter the amount from line 8 on line 14 and go to line 15. If line 11 is less than line 12, divide line 11 by line 12 and put in line 13 only if greater than line 9 and enter the result as a decimal."

well being that i am considered "self emloyed" now
and their is this loop hole that if you pay at least as much in as you had the year before, then you dont have pay till the end of the year.

well i did my taxes the other day since i suddenly have alot of free time
and lets just say it will be the biggest check i ever have written before
by alot!!

i'm afraid to do my taxes.
very afraid....
the goal for us has never
been to "get a big check"
from the government because,
as we all (should) know, it's
not like it's a reward or something..
it's yer money in the first place and
you just gave the gov't an interest
free loan with it all year...anyways...

i'm just
sick of
paying
every year....

That schedule D is a bear. I swear Im getting rid of what few shares I own just so that I don't have to fill it out anymore. Every year I finish filling it out and think to myself - "Yeah, I definitely screwed that up royally. Im going to jail."
