this reminds me of something....

my grandmom, nanny k, was really old and she had to have the lower part of one of her legs amputated. it was terrible and sad and we were all worried about her.

so, she comes out of the er and she is all groggy and doesnt know what planet she is on.

and my dad kept saying, mom, how do you feel, are you ok? how do you feel? how do you feel?

and ol nanny k (the irish lassy that she was) barely opens her eyes and mumbles.... 'with my hands'

it was really funny :D
