I have this song that is supposed to be eddie vedder and someone else i guess. it kind of sounds like him, but i cant tell if it is a really him or not.

oh, sorry, back to reality. i know nothing of this song. but i as an aside, i downloaded a version of one step up that was supposed to be ed and bruce together...TOGETHER SINGING THIS SONG!!!! highway listened to it and said that it wasnt real, the guy must have pasted the two voices together...but sheeeeeeeeit..it sounds really real!!!!! really!!!! but it aint. but a girl can dream :)

Though, here are a couple of references off the top of my head that I can think of aobut Ed talking singing next to a fire...


It's known that he and Kelly Slater, and a few others have sang quite a few times by a fire. In fact, there are pictures of one such time. To have them recorded would be amazing...

Also, Ed has stated about "Throw your arms around me" that he sings it at every fire he sings next to...


So who knows...but I would like to hear the song, just to hear what it is. Any notes and stuff about the song? Lyrics?

I have no idea who it is. But it's not Eddie for sure. And there is no one singing backup. It's just the guy doing tracks of his voice.

He's hitting a remotely normal voice pitch of Ed when he sings "Sittiiiiiiingggg..."

But that's it. Sorry dood.


Great song though. though I would check out the guy who used to sing for The Nixons. A great one hit wonder type band, with a great voice on the lead. I'm looking now as well.

Though I do like Mike Watt, he's a little older...

this guy sounds young, and this song sounds a bit rough. Probably a low-level band..though I could be wrong.

I can't really tell a difference between the "2" singers, because I really think it's the same guy.

I could be wrong. I wish I could put it up, but the dial up won't let me do it. Maybe Dom could send it to Joe, and he could put it up.

But I'll put money that it's not Ed. ::surprise:

i do think it is two guys though, and the background guy who is singing in the chorus part is the one i think sounds alot like eddie

at first i thought it was definitey fake, but after a few more listens it seems to sound more and more like him...

i looked on a bunch of sites and have found nothing and its bugging me....

The guy has some good soul in his voice. The only reason why I got that it was the same guy was his second line in the chorus. Then I picked up on it. His first line does sound alot like Ed, though there's something missing.

It's a really great song. I like it alot, and I am pissed as well, that I can't find who it's by. I've done some searching...and nothing is coming up.

Make sure you tell me who it is if you do find out. I will keep looking.

Though, it could be just some guy like me recording themselves (and sounding better) and doing some extra tracks.

It would have been rad if it were Ed though.
