i saw a mayer show about a year and a half ago. although most of his songs were just ok, i left very impressed by a 20 minute blues solo that included some licks from jimi, stevie and clapton...it was amazing...i felt like at any minute he would go into little wing or ledbetter... :)

lol, I'm not kidding. I thought this punk was just another Dave Matthews ripp off artist and I mean I was truely impressed by the show I saw. He had an old blues king come up on stage and play with him. the kid is good. I have respect for him now. i think he justhas to grow up a little and get out of the high school mentallity. next clapton perhaps...
