why cant i add an avatar to my name?

i try to add an avatar and there doesnt seem to be any way to do it, anyone know how?

For some reason I recall something about you only being able to add one after you've got up to so many posts.. I could be wrong & making this up.. Someone??

Hmmm...

I'm not sure about that "law"...but try this

click the button up top to the right "user cp"...after that, you'll get a line of stuff, one is "Avatar" click on that. make sure that the first little button isn't filled it, that means you don't want one...

then, you have to get a custom one, because I don't think Smirks has one on here...but you can check out the ones that I've made here http://www2.potsdam.edu/highway79/Pearl%20Jam%20Avatars/

i already tried to do exactly what you said but when i try to un highlight that little dot it doesnt let me, that is what makes me think maybe you need a certain # of posts... no big deal but thanks

Just to clarify...

To be able to use an avatar you must be registered for 30 days and have 75 posts.

The be able to change your User Title (the line beneath your username) you must be registered for 90 days and have 501 posts.
