Hey Chris

Sorry to hear about the job. I hope everything is okay.

You'll be alright, you're too good of a person, we love you for that, and a potential employee will see that too.

Love ya babe!

thanks everyone... :)

i had a chat with my (now old) boss yesterday morning and i just said 'fuck it'. i turned in my two weeks notice. it was sort of out of the blue. i have been looking at other options lately and was going to quit when i found something. turns out i really didn't want to wait...

the good news is i had an interview today that went really well. he wants me to speak to one of the VP either later today or tomorrow. i may start there monday. its another mortgage company, but one i feel better about working for... :) it will probably just be for a while so i can pay off some debt...

word

(jess - if i could afford a ticket, i'd visit you!)

Sometimes you've gotta roll the dice.

Two years ago this month, my gf had a nervous breakdown at work. She worked as the manager of a big department store portrait studio, and since they didn't give her enough hours to hire out, she couldn't find anyone to work part time. Thus, she wound up working every day, all day for two months, and not less than 60 hours in a week for over a year. She didn't want to quit because she had nothing to fall back on and I was still finishing up grad school.

Anyway, she finally said "fuck it" and quit, with no jobs on the horizon, a lousy job market, and no desire to ever work retail again. After a couple of months (which were pretty rough) she found a job working in a special ed classroom as a teacher's aide. Today, she's still there, loves her job, and has gone back to college to become an occupational therapist to work with the kinds of kids she works with now.

Roll the dice, Smoothie... if you got an interview already, you'll have no trouble getting hired. Good luck :bigsm:
