Well I asked my friend Angela to make a post on here about her night, and she did, only she is too shy and weird, to make her own post, so she just added it to the oh my god one, so I am going to remedy that, and make the post for herhttp://bbs.pearl-jam.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
Here it is, hope you all enjoy!
Oh and this was larger I believe, but after she wrote her message, the board had timed out, and she lost it, so she had to write it all againhttp://bbs.pearl-jam.net/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
Hello everyone! Jason asked to give a review of my experience at the SB show. Hmmm....where to begin.
My friend and I were two of the fortunate souls to be sitting front row. We were in between Mike and Eddie. (LOVE Mike) Just when I didn't think I could be more fired up for this show, Jason calls and tells me Chris Cornell is going to be a surprise guest. Jack Johnson and Jack Irons were a nice added bonus as well.
The band came on and WOW! I was in amazement at how close we were to all of the action. They started to play 'I Believe In Miracles' and I began to shake
uncontrollably. It took the better part of an hour for my adrenaline to reach a tolerable level. Mike is so great with the crowd and gave me a little wink and nod. Ahhhhh. Watching Eddie sing at such close range was absolutely incredible. I was in awe of the way the veins in his neck would pop out when he would hit certain notes. That man has the voice of an angel.
In My Tree. UNBELIEVABLE!
Chris Cornell. This guy is not only a beautiful human being but can wail like no other. After all of these years, his voice is still as flawless as ever. Hunger Strike kicked some serious ASS. Reach Down...GOOD GOD!!! David Crosby was standing directly behind me. He was really into the show. :)
I've seen PJ 8 times in the past 6 months and must say that SB is a close runner up to HOB in my opinion. I hope they release this show on dvd because no PJ fan should be deprived of such an epic event. I'm still letting it all soak in so I apologize if my review is a tad surface.
In conclusion, I had an INSANE time and cannot wait for the next show. WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!
Here it is, hope you all enjoy!
